All I ask is that you don’t reupload the source SVG file and make it publicly available anywhere else. You may use this logo template for both personal and commercial purposes. Make sure to download and install that font before you open the Inkscape template, otherwise Inkscape will display whatever your system’s default font is instead. Just so you know, the font used for this template is League Gothic. Once you’ve finished adding your text, select the text objects and go to Path > Object To Path, then delete the green circles and you’re good to go! Font Download You can use the Select tool to rotate those circles in order to rotate your text along with it. The green circles inside the design represent the paths that the text is place on. Simply open the SVG file with Inkscape, grab the text tool, then click on the text in order to replace it with your own. When you need to make modifications, you can either export a rectangle individually, or all at once (Select them all - the export dialogue box has a Batch export all selected objects option). Make sure to edit your text accordingly though.Īnd with that, our logo design is complete! Free Template DownloadĪ free template of this logo can be downloaded in Inkscape SVG format here: free-logo-template.zip Export each rectangle individually: select a rectangle, go to File > Export bitmap (or Ctrl-E), en choose Selection before exporting. This next part is optional, but if you’d like to add another banner going around the top, simply duplicate the entire graphic and flip it vertically. Go ahead and grab the text tool, write out some text, then we’ll use the Put On Path function to wrap the text around the edge of our logo. In order to do that, we’ll create a smaller circle within the center of the page. Now it’s time to add some text that follows the circular edges of the banner. For this logo the color I chose for the banner template is #FF002A. Lets going ahead and use the Bezier Pen in Inkscape to manually draw in some shapes where shadows would typically be, then color it in however you’d like. These tutorials teach how to use specific tools or features. Now we’ll use the Edit Paths By Nodes tool to add a couple of fishtail ends to our banner. It's an introduction to the most basic elements of vector graphics (paths).) The others cover specific features, which you can use as needed. (Don't worry, the one named Advanced isn't really. The first three are highly recommended for beginners, titled Basic, Shapes, and Advanced. But we have them linked below as static copies. These tutorials are actually packed with Inkscape, where they are interactive. These traits are discussed as styles and are summarized briefly below. 3 INTRODUCTION TO THE DISC®MODEL The DiSC®assessment is designed to measure traits that are described by the DiSC model (Marston, 1928). In general, they provide the most basic or most essential information, which is needed by most Inkscape users, at some point. DiSC, Inscape Publishing, and the Inscape logo are registered trademarks of Inscape Publishing, Inc. These are tutorials from the Inkscape project. Inkscape users can depend on them being of high quality. Here we want to make a collection of new official tutorials, officially-endorsed tutorials, and user-recommended tutorials, which have been provided by community members, and reviewed for content and presentation. The only truly official tutorials are those packaged with the program, which you can find in the Help menu > Tutorials. At this writing more than 95% are made by Inkscape users, and scattered hither and yon across the internet. The Inkscape community has produced a vast volume of tutorials over the years.
